Each year the Spokane Scholars selects a keynote speaker for the awards banquet who has achieved excellence in their chosen career. Speakers appear gratis. The facilities sponsor provides travel and lodging costs for the speaker and the rental costs of specialized audio-visual equipment for the banquet.
